On Wednesday, November 17, 2021, the Asharqia Chamber delegation began its visit to the Expo 2020, which is hosted by the United Arab Emirates and its activities will be held in Dubai, and the visit will last for three days.

Abdulhakim bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khalidi, The Chairman of the Chamber’s Board of Directors, said that the visit aims to see the most important achievements of the business sector, by visiting the participating international pavilions, and to learn about everything new in the world of finance and business and the mechanisms taken by the participating countries to support the business sector in overcoming the pandemic crisis.
Al-Khalidi explained that the exhibition is a valuable opportunity for the business sector to learn about the leading ideas in the world of economy, which is reflected in serving the exhibition's goal of being an exceptional platform that allows the global community to cooperate to discover innovative and pioneering solutions for global development.
Al-Khalidi indicated that the participating pavilions contained new initiatives and projects that would represent a qualitative leap, whether in the commercial or industrial sector and sustainability initiatives, as well as in the alternative and renewable energy sector, especially as the world is currently racing towards the uses of clean energy and is taking rapid steps towards achieving low rates of carbon emissions, stressing that This will reflect positively on the formation of a knowledge base for companies and visitors aimed at developing their work mechanism in this field and benefiting from those experiences and transferring them to their entities.

Al-Khalidi praised the high level of organizing the exhibition, indicating that this conveys a positive image of the great human and material capabilities and the pioneering ideas owned by the state in the field of exhibition organization, which was able to embrace all the participating pavilions and mix their creative designs for the pavilions with the identity of the exhibition.
The delegation began its program by visiting the pavilion of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where it met Hussein Hanbaza, the commissioner-general of the Kingdom’s pavilion, and learned about the details and sections of the pavilion, after which the delegation toured between the pavilions of the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Arab Republic of Egypt.
Al-Khalidi praised the high level of the Saudi pavilion with an innovative and sustainable design, as it is the second-largest pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, and it represents our people, our landscapes, and also reflects the past, present, future, and ambitions.
He also stressed that the pavilion was designed with the smallest details that reflect our identity and goals following the Kingdom's Vision 2030, praising the unique feature that was adopted in it, which is the "day and night" technology so that the pavilion appears in the day in a different way than it appears at night.
